1996 manual antenna help!!

i have a zenki SE with a manual antenna setup(broken off). I ordered a stubby antenna but i realized that i couldnt screw it in. i took it all apart and the old antenna was broken off and the thread is rusted in. theres no way to really get it out. anyone else have the same problem? and does anyone have a replacement for me? :)
