Welcome to NICO!

The starter is really easy to replace. First take the air piping out. Then you'll need to disconnect the wires from the starter. Next use a 17mm and 14mm rachet to remove the two bolts holding the starter in. Then put the new starter in, reconnect the wires, and reinstall the air piping.

Yep, easy.

Especially if you have an aftermarket intake that replaces the factory piping between the TB and MAF and you've already tossed the stock air scoop in the trash (since your aftermarket intake doesn't need it)... takes about 10 minutes.

Since you're taking out the air intake manifold, better clean the throttle body and MAF sensor. Use non-residue contact cleaner on the MAF sensor. If it's really dead and not just sticky (dried out grease), be sure to buy an OEM starter. Best pricing is still from Joe (Scottsdale Infiniti).

Thanks for everything. It was easy to get out, and I even found a place in Milwaukee close to my house that will totally rebuild the old one for 75.00 alot of my friends went to this place, and all they do is rebuild starters, and none of them have ever had a problem. It sure is better then the prices I got from the aoto parts stores, they wanted between 150 to 200 bucks.
