So the motor in my '95. (rod-knocking) I have acquired a slightly wrecked 1996 240sx w/ 57,000 miles and I'm planning on swapping all of its goodies into my 1995, along with an nsport turbo kit if all goes as planned.

on the 1996 there appears to be a lot more emissions crap, and etc. I do not plan on swapping the ECU or anything as I don't want ANYTHING to do w/ OBDII!

So, what I plan to do is just swap the intake manifolds so I won't have to worry about extra vacuum lines, wiring harness, etc (the throttle position sensor for example is different) is there anything wrong with this? are there other incompatibilities?

Thanks for the input, -Jeff

I got a 95 s14. I bought an ecu off a '97 s14 and it plugs in with no problem. The engine runs fine and the engine check light didn't go off...so i think you should be abel to put a 96 KA into a 95 without swapping the ecu.:ylsuper

You're right on. Swap the manifold and you're done.
