1996 JT30 Parking Lights and Locks Problems

Hello. I have a 1995 Infinity JT30 (or J30T ?) that has not been driven for a while. There are two problems with it. One is the parking lights will not turn off, so when I turn the motor off I have to disconnect the battery to make the lights turn off. The other problem is the doors lock themselves very quickly after being unlocked. When I get out of the car I have to make sure the key is in my hand, so it will not be trapped in the car when the doors lock themselves.

Does anyone know what I can look for to fix these problems?

parking light problem is probably a ground wire is shorted...or switch is faulty.
door timer is probably due to door timer relay under the dash

Your door loock timer is done. This is a very common age related issue with the J's. You can opt to have it replaced; mine was a pain-in-the-a$$ exercise or just live with it.
