1996 Infinity G20 Air Conditioning Fan and Idling Low

Air conditioning fan only works on #4. And, when I am in drive with the air conditioning on, the idling drops from 3/4 to 1/2 and the car will eventually will stall. When the air conditioning is off, the idling remains 3/4 to 1 and I have no problem. Pleeeaaassse help! The car only has 85,000 miles on it. What can I tell my mechanic to do to fix this?

Sounds like a bad ground or a locked up AC. Low miles like that, the AC compressor could have dried out and locked up.

Thanks for your answer. However, we had a Nissan mechanic find it. It was a bad cable in the AC system. It is fine now. Yeah!!!!
