I drove home yesterday turned the car off and there was a buzzing motor sounding noise coming from the A/C fuse box and the car was off. I discounted the ground on the battery and it turned off. Then I plug the ground back in and the noise was gone. I drove it this morning and have not heard the noise since its only been one day though since.

I remember about 3 1/2 years ago I had a similar problem I dont remember the noise as loud but it ended up draining my battery. (Which sucked because I was in Las Vegas and it was snowing).

At that time I ended up replacing a fuse in the A/C fuse box. I believe I replaced a few of them in there and did have not issues til now.

Any ideals what is going on??

Where is the A/C fuse box located?

Did you check the ABS relay, its in the little black box on the ABS pump.

The ABS relay is what I replaced last time I believe.Actually I ended up buying both of the I think that go in there.

Can theses go bad in 3 1/2 years again?

I cannot find them on the website for everything Infiniti.com

Maybe I should call them on this one

Try using a mechanics stethoscope or a poor mans stethoscope (Screwdriver) and place it on all relays and see which one is making the noise.

Ok I looked up my receipt since I still have the original from when I ordered it last time 3 years ago go figure.

I order a Relay ASSY-Valve and a relay ASSY-Actuator.

Both of theses were like $45.65 all together with shipping.

I dont want to order both of theses this time if I dont have too.So the questions is which one of theses relays is the one I really need?????

I'm having issues with my 1996 Infiniti Q45T

There was a buzzing noise, like the one previously described under my hood last night after the engine was turned off. I also had all of my brake light warnings on ABS,Slip, TCS off.

This morning I woke up to find my battery drained and the car not starting. I tried to plug in the battery to charge, but the battery was charging slowly because the buzzing under the hood continued.

The motor under the black ABS box was also hot. I thought about trying to disconnect the ABS until I could get it to the shop tomorrow, but I have no idea where to look or if my normal brakes would work after the disconnect. Any suggestions?

Thanks,Natasha
