1996 Infiniti i30 problem please help!!

well whats up everybody!! well lately my car has been booging down at stops, just for a couple of seconds and then it takes off, its starts fine runs fine, but just that problem, i changed out the fuel filter but nothing!! ive took it to a couple of mechanics but they give different answers.such as low fuel presure, anybody had this problem before?? thanks

Well if I were you I'd head over to the Maxima and I30 section of our forums. That will get you some answers about your specific car. But if its low fuel pressure your pump may be bad or a leaky line somewhere. But like I said, head here, zeroforum?id=83 . There are a few very knowlegdable Maxima owners over there!!

I'm having a similar problem with my 1996 I30 that just started. After the car warms up to operating temperature, when I come to a stop where the car needs to idle, it will start to randomly "miss" resulting in a rough and inconsistent idle. This just started yesterday but I believe the misses are increasing in frequency. Did you receive any responses to your email that helped you out? I need to replace an oxygen sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) and am hoping this will solve my problem but I've just replaced one of the others (bank 1 sensor 1) and am wondering why I'm having these failures all of a sudden. The car has about 145,000 miles and I've had the car for about the last 7,000 miles and it's got me a little worried. Jay
