1996 Infiniti G20 "REVERSE" gear replacement for manual transmission.

I JUST had my reverse gear go out in my '96 G20 manual transmission and I was wondering if anyone out there knew how much it would cost to fix. Or if I could do it myself. Im pretty car savvy. I have replaced water pumps, radiators, manifold gaskets, transmission pan gaskets, etc. I know basic shiz. Thanks in advance for the help if there is hope.

Probably going to be cheaper and easier to swap a whole new trans in than change out one gear. You can use any of the following trans:

95-99 Sentra SE-R/SE-L91-02 G2000-01 Sentra SE

You can swap out gears, it can be tricky though especially if you haven't done it before and don't understand how the gear stacks go back together. By the time you source a reverse gear, you might as well find a used transmission. It will be less hassle and headache in the end.

Thank you guys so much! Are there any internet sites that are worth taking a look at for one? Or should i stick to ebay and locally? My aunt is a service manager and she said that doing it myself for my manual transmission isnt too hard. Im pretty car savvy, what do you think??
