1996 i30t trouble codes 0120 and 0325

the cel on my sons i30t came on after car sat in driveway for about 20 mins at idle. we then drove the car 320 miles for Thanksgiving trip and another 320 home. the car ran fine and got around 22 miles to gallon.autozone says the codes are 0120 and 0325. what are these two for and does NICO have breakdown of these codes. i tried a search and found a post with different code numbers but could not open them.Bill

0120 is the throttle position sensor. 0325 is the bank 1 knock sensor. Did they clear the codes? The TPS might have a dead spot or a bad connection. You can backprobe the connector and measure the voltage while you work the throttle. The knock sensor might need to be replaced if the code comes back.

thanks for the info. no, they did not clear the codes. the guy said that they could no longer clear the codes, so i'm hoping it will clear itself or i'll try disconnecting the battery.i was able to clear codes on my Nissan that way.
