Where do I start? I can't find one screw , does the Center Consol have to come out? thanks for all your advice on this one.

Looking at another radio it lookls like it unscrews from the back of the radio behind the dash , does this sound right?

You need a common blade screw driver, cloth or duct tape on the tip of the screwdriver, to remove the center vent and the the shifter bezel. Then remove 4 Philips screws and pull out the head unit. Refer to the link below:

Thanks for the Info , the top A/C came out easy but the shifter bezel was really stuck , removed the Radio and I unplugged evey connector then installed all the plugs back and the radio works fine , the plugs were not loose at all , could it be a bad wire? but since the wires do not get messed with why should they break? anyway it is funny how it works again , any suggestions why it started to work again? should I just re-install it? thanks.

You're lucky. It's possible that you have a 'pushed pin' in one of the connectors - double check. Having a bad wire is remote but possible. I suggest you use a zero-residue Contact Cleaner on all the connectors (pins and sockets) and then apply Dielectric Grease to prevent corrosion.

Go to CarStereoRemoval.com they specialize in bose radios for infiniti. The have a step by step procedure with color photos for $5. They also will totally refurbish the radio to factory specs for about $200. This is all they do. They are in Longwood florida and their phone is 1-800-428-1909. I followed the procedure and it was very good. Do not put an aftermarket radio in, the speakers are matched for the bose amp only. The radio is actually made by clarion and is a high end unit.
