Hello all,

My issue is that the left rear combination lamp, as well as the right trunk-lid combination lamp don't illuminate. However, all other brake/tail/stop lamps illuminate as they are supposed to. Also, the turn signals and hazards illuminate as they are supposed to as well. The license plate lamp also illuminates when it's supposed to.

This problem seems to have come mysteriously out of nowhere.

I've tried replacing the offending bulbs to no avail, also moving the bulbs around using known working ones. I also checked all the connectors local to the issue, they are all firmly attached, and I even unplugged and re-plugged them just in case.

The strangest part is that all the tail-lamps share the same input source wire (R/L) on the tail-lamp circuit's input side as well as the same ground circuit and stop lamp circuit.

To me it really makes no sense that some would work, and some wouldn't as I look at the electrical diagram.

Nothing crazy happened (e.g. crash, new trunk, new tail-lamps) that should be causing such an odd situation.

I would greatly appreciate any help or ideas you guys and gals have got.

Thanks,

Alex
