I searched around for this but found no answer really. Essentially, my right headlight stays on all the time, even when the lights are off and the car is off. If I unplug the connector to the light, it turns off. I swapped the bulb with the one from the left side and the problem still remained on the right. Any ideas?

Find and replace the stuck relay.

The bulb is not your issue. You have a short to power somewhere in the circuit.

There is no relay in series with the headlights on the US market G20.

Best guess at this point is a bad headlight switch. It may have broken internally and constantly supplying power to headlight. Both headlights have dedicated switch contact inside the switch.

So I would just have to replace the little stalk that comes off the steering wheel column? I'm guessing I can buy that from a junkyard but is installation tricky if I have airbags in the car?

Just disconnect the battery and wait the required three minutes.

Sorry but I think its 10 minutes and just disconect the airbag to be on th safe side (to diconect there should be a little plug on the bottom of the sterring wheel thats the way it is on my Q45).

Yep your right I stand corrected Good looking out.

The newer models are 3 minutes. Enough to allow the capacitors to discharge.

I don't think disconnecting the A/B harness is necessary since all you have to do is remove the lower steeing wheel cover and a few screws.

It's the lever for the lights and to it is attached a box with a plug on one end of it. Is that it?
