1996 g20 clutch change

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

i searched around and got no real results. Just wondering if there is a good guide out there on how to do a clutch change on 1996 g20. I've changed a clutch on my 91 240sx but the transverse engine layout seems like it would make it more difficult. So I was really just wondering, what will I have to do that I didn't have to do on the 240.

Also looking for a clutch kit for under $200 that might be slightly better than OEM.

The only real difference is removing the axles and taking all the intake and battery pieces out to get to the top bolts on the transmission. You can find an oem replacement in your price range or upgraded one for a bit more.

remove the transmission mount and there are 3 bolts around the rear cross member. one short one inside the mount (can be PIA) plus two others. The bolt for the motor can stay in.
