My OEM is rusting out & I know the patch route is merely a band-ade. I want something that won't hinder performance & keep it quiet without breaking the bank like a OEM restore would.

As far as I know, aftermarket performance exhaust was only available in the mid 90's. But any decent exhaust shop can easily fabricate new pipes for any rusted places, or even fab up a complete new exhaust. This will be cheaper than new oem parts. You could get used replacements from a junkyard.

Exhaust is very expensive to replace. Even the mufler/exhaust shop is going to be expensive. This is why people just fix or patch the existing exhaust. That's basically all your options :/

Find a junked Q and see if the exhaust is still in good shape. Putting the whole unit on all at once is pretty easy as long as you have a lift and a second pair of hands. I still have a full system from headers to muffler. Its been stoned and wire brushed and looks great. But my current exhaust is in great shape so I doubt I will ever need it.
