1996 altima wont start. code p0325

Hello here's the story on it so far. I drove it around doing some deliveries one afternoon and everything was running fine. Went home after work then the next morning I go to start it and it wont start. It cranks and everything but just wont turn over.

Then the check engine light comes on, so I hook up the code scanner and get p0325 knock sensor code. No other codes except for that one. I go under the car and checked the sensor plug to see if it was tight and everything looked ok. I erased the code and try to start the car again, and as I expected it still doesn't start but check engine light hasn't yet come back on. I'm at work now and this is as far I have gotten. I'll check for spark and fuel when I get home. I just seeing if anyone might have suggestions or have come across this same problem. I have always thought that even with a bad knock sensor the car would still start.
