1996 Altima won't start

Hello all,

My wife backed into a light pole with a concrete base today and the engine died. Now the engine cranks and it tries to start, but it just sputters. Is there a fuel shut-off that could have been triggered by the impact? If so, how do you reset it?

so rear end is damaged? blocked exhaust?not 'accident safety shut off' to my knowledge.what does fuel pressure with key on, engine off say?
