My friend's Altima gave him a check engine light recently, and we couldn't get the code from the diagnostic screw on the ecu, so we took it to Advance and borrowed their OBDII reader. Pulled the following codes: P0130 O2 Sensor, P0325 Knock Sensor 1.

I imagine this means we'll need to replace the O2 sensor, but does anyone know what the deal with the knock sensor is? Did it get set off or is it just not working anymore or what?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Anybody? Not sure what's up with this knock sensor code.

Reset the ECU. If it comes back, replace the knock sensor.

Edit: You will have to check for the knock sensor code periodically as it doesn't trigger the CEL.
