I recently purchased this car and i am having my second issue. I fixed the abs issue a few days ago with a new relay.

The check engine light was on when i bought it so i went and pulled the codes just to see what they were. I got code 34 and code 32. The car just seemed a little sluggish. I went ahead and purchased the knock sensor relo kit from z1 and installed it accordingly. I followed directions found on internet for the install. I started the car up and i noticed a much more consistent idle. I drove the car after wards and i noticed a big difference in the way it runs. Knock sensor fixed for now??? I pulled the codes again after install and i am still getting the code 34 even after relo kit. All connections look clean and the connectors are not broken. Why is the car still throwing the code 34??? I would like to take care of this code before i deal with the egr! Please help.

That kit is for testing purposes and should not be left in the car. The knock sensor is there to save your pocketbook should anything start to go wrong. You will need to pull the plenum, so plan on doing deletes at that time if you would like.

To clear the codes, remove your negative Connection off the battery for 10 minutes then reconnect. Run it for a couple minutes then shut down and check your codes again. But again... Get that bypass out!!
