I will own this truck in about a week just wanted to know if it has torsion bars or not?

how hard is it to lower it? I dont want to lower it to much just enough to give it an edge over stock hardbody's

You could lower it about 1-1.5" through torsion bar adjustment. Any more than that will require drop spindles unless you want to be riding on the bumpstops. You'll need an alignment after adjustments.
