i have a 96 240 with rb25det, everything works except the speedo is way off! it claims i'm doing 120mph when i shift into 3rd gear. I was told by a gentleman at mckinney motorsports that i needed to have it calibrated. If anyone can help it would be much appriciated. Thanks

CarlH started a poll asking this question. Many have not had issues and many others have. It seems to be a hit-or-miss type of situation with the cluster being compatible with the RB25 VSS. Like McKinney suggested, you'll have to calibrate the gauge cluster. Search

The problem with calibrating the cluster is that your cruise won't work properly (if your keeping it) I am going to install a dakota digital contraption to modify the signal for the dash and the cruise.

does dakota digital recalibrate the cluster then or is it something you just buy and do it yourself?
