Im thinking of trading in my Corrado for this car... But i really dont know much about the 240... Could anyone tell me some common problems with this car or anything i should ask the deallership when I get there... I think they're going to harsh screw me on the trade in so i might try and go private sale... unless they give me 7G's

Any suggestions please

They want $13,500 for that car??? You could get one WAY cheaper than that if you look around.

i paid 2500 for mine, with suspension mods, only needed to change the thermostat, i got it with 120k, very good shape, minus the pebble marks on the front and 2 tiny dings

btw, if im not mistaken, isnt that a 95 grill? unless canada has the same grill for 95 & 96, cause my 96 grill has no bars, jsut a frame type grill

$4800 for mine... But after oil change, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, needed a new clutch, install my stereo, taxes, DMV registration ect... it can really add up. I'd say if you want to get a used car, prolly have an extra 300-500 for any tune ups that you may need to do. And plus I had to have extra money after I bought mine so I could throw my hubbies off. Even if thats canadian, I still think it's too much.. put on your haggaling hat and walk in like you own the place.

The 96 had both grilles. My 1996 has the bar in the middle, and yes, I am 100% sure its a 1996. They left them on the 96s that were produced early in the year and changed over to the open look later in the 96 production year.

Believe me Mike, I searched for a good 6-7 months before I found the right car. So, when searchin for a 240sx, you have to assume it's going to take awhile unless ur rich and don't mind overpaying.

EXPENSIVE !!!! .. and that car doesn't even look like 96' .. that center grill is 95'

FYI: I sold my 80K miles 240sx SE for 10K USD including brand new $4000+ paint job, 13.3" AP Racing brake, Greddy muffler, HKS intake, CUSCO strut bar, GAB shocks and springs, Phillips HID kit, etc.

my point is just wait for the good car to come by .. be patience, don't rush

:pface

I find 240s go for quite a bit more up this side of the border. Its crazy when I see how little they go for in the states.

Granted I got mine for 330 US :D, but she wasn't in good shape on the body.
