The weather has gotten cooler, so I changed the oil and filter.

Ever since then, my baby stalls (only happened 3 times in a week ). Once on the highway going 65 mph, felt like the motor cut out, or fuel cut out, I was passing someone at the time. Then the motor came back to life, hardly slowed down. It was almost instant.

In the parking lot, idling, stalled. Won't start. Waited 30 sec, tried, no go. Fourth try it started. Took it home and parked it.

Any ideas? I will check it for codes tonight.

Appreciate any help.

Fuel filter is about 4 yrs old ( car is on driven 6 months a year, maybe has 60,000 mi). Changed plug wires 6 months ago (NGK). Plugs changed 60k ago with oem. Rotor button and distributor cap original. Runs great, good on gas, no issues at all. Allways use synthetic oil, and WIX oil filter. I run a K & N air filter, cleaned and re-oiled it 6 months ago.

I love my car. Hope you guys can give me some pointers....

when the car stalled when at idle and you tired to start it, was the motor turning over?

the more detailed you are the more help you will get

front of engine near or on the ka thermostat housing, one is a 1 wire (gauge) the other is red in color mos likely or blue 2 wire (ecu signal) thats the one you want, not sure if its your problem though

yup, thats what i was going to suggest when i read your first post OP, mine did the same, "240life" is right, its going to be the 2 pin sensor, when your car stalled and you got it to start did it rough idle?

anyways heres what you do, turn your car on, let it warm up to operating temp, it should start running kinda funny or even stall out, try to start it once and make sure it doesnt want to start, once you've verified it wont start, go under the hood find your CTS (coolant temp sensor, remember, the 2 pin) and disconnect it, if the car starts right up, thats what it is, make sure also that there is no corrosion on the metal prongs in the connector and make sure its securely plugged in.

No problem, what happens is the CTS malfunctions and makes the ecu think your car is cold and it starts dumping more fuel like if you were warming up your car and is causes the engine to flood with fuel
