1996 240 fuel pump help?!?!?!?!!

im tryin to change out the fuel pump on my recently acquired 96 240, im down to actually moving the pump around in the tank but cannot get it off the bracket????what do i do????????????????

whats up with the bracket?

It slides up the bracket, then comes off. Wiggle it around from side to side while keeping upward pressure on the thing and it will come.
