(I did the search for this problme, but did not find the correct answer)

Just got the Q 3 weeks ago with non-functional A/C.Everything else is super condition and works great except A/CI did evac/recharge the system this morning (R134A for $200) and ystem hold up the pressure, so there are no apprarent leaks. (PO told the A?C wasn't functional for las 2 years).

If the car is in motion at HWY speed, it will blow cold air, but if the speed is down, it blow warm air. I am guessing cold/warm air is dependent on the engine RPM. (you can rev the enginer when park to get some cold air)

Besides looking for any debris around the evalporator, what elese can I do?What potential parts replacement am I looking at?

Thanks much in advance.

Jonathan

Bad fan clutch?

If it's not engaging, the fan won't pull much air while the car is stationary or is being driven at low speeds.

However, seems like that would also make the car prone to overheating when stationary or at low speeds - Does the temperature gauge show any higher temperatures when this occurs?

Car runs fine without any changes in the temp gauge. (always in half way on the gauge) I will run the Self-Diagnosis tomorrow as specified in the FSM.

Thanks for your reply.
