Ok so I have purchased a 1995 vh45de and I can not find a 95 model harness anywhere local. Therefore I purchased a 1993 harness and I am currently trying to make this work. I believe I have figured out all the differences and was wanting to see if anyone else knew if what I have done will work.

1) The coil on plug control module was completely different, so I located the 93
Control module and the 93 coil on plug wiring harness. With that everything.
Plugs right up. ( Does anyone know I this will work?)
2) The cam angle sensors from the 2 different years are completely different, but
The engine wiring harness and the cam angle sensors harnesses are all the
Wire colors in the same locations. So I have cut the cam angle sensor plug and
Soldered the older style plug on. ( has this been done? Will it work? )
3) The Evap system is missing one plug. ( not to worried about this, but any suggestions? )

I know I'm a noob to this site, I'm just getting into nissan/infinity, but I do apriciate all help I can get. Thanx everyone for all replies!

Welcome to NICO!

I haven't done this personally, but I think you've hit on the major differences. Comparing the factory service manuals between the two years will tell you a lot! www.nicoclub.com/FSM/

So are you putting the VH in your 240?

Good luck!

I moved this to the VH45 forum...

What you've done will work wiht the coils and the cam sensor.. I'm not 100% sure that the wire colors are in the same positions you'd want to check a schematic for that.

The EVAP system technically isn't missing a plug. On the 90-93, there is a small solenoid back by the EGR valve, and then another one on the front drivers side of the valve cover... On the 94-96 both those solenoids are up front.
