Holy run-on sentence Batman.

When you say "don't line up", you mean the colors don't match between the harness and the F3 plug that you have?

My suggestion to you, sir, is to find an s14 ECU pinout, grab a continuity tester (aka multimeter) and find which pins those wires go to. I definitely wouldn't just twist them together and call it a day - it could short something out if they're anything but chassis grounds, which, they wouldn't be seeing as they aren't black.

yea theres 1 red wire on the the plug part and 2 red wires on the harness side and the other two wires are on the harness side also. there are 2 red wires on the plug side and 3 on the harness side and they arent labeled with stripes or silver dots so idk there they go. im pretty sure i shouldnt have extra wires. i downloaded the fsm but can find the pinouts. so i need help lol.
