Actually, those lights do have a function. Otherwise Nissan wouldn't put those there. Government regulation mandates that amber reflectors are placed in a visable area towards the front of the vehicle from the side. As for your question, that front side bumper light powers a single 194 wedge bulb that turns on with one click. You can rewire the bulb to the bumper lights so when you signal, the light will blink. However, doing so will cause the light to be off when you aren't signaling.
