My beloved 1995 Black / Black Q45 recently was hit in the right-rear. Just cosmetic damage, but now it’s a salvaged title. I had recently had the rack & pinion replaced, new brakes all around, a new radiator and a full plenum job with injector service done. Then I had a custom stereo put in with a fiberglass box molded into the trunk. I figured what the heck, I’ll just keep driving it.

Then a couple of weeks ago she wouldn’t go into reverse any more. I took a transmission shop owner for a drive, and he explained that the clutches are probably bad, and that it will probably stop going forward soon enough. I definitely feel it shifting strange, and I am pretty sure things are going very wrong. It has 156,000 miles on it and the interior is in great condition.

The good news is I found a 1994 Q45 with 113,000 miles on it. It needs a good detailing, and a few typical things like a rack, brakes and a water pump. The great news is that I confirmed that the knock sensors and injectors were done less than 30,000 miles ago at the local dealership.

Due to falling in love with the ’94 Q, I need to decide what to do with the ’95 Black one.

Are there any NICO members in northern California that would be interested in this car, or any specific parts?

I am also wandering if there are any recommendations for parts I should grab off the ’95 just in case I need them for the ‘94.

Honestly what I would do with the wrecked Q is, if you have the room, strip it down to nothing. Most salvage yards will come and get cars for free if you give them the title... Thats what they did with mine. Save everything or as much as you can.

I would be interested in rack & pinion and all four struts with stock spring. If you can save them, I'll buy from you. Thanks!

Heheh... I think I'm getting too old for the harsh ride I think I would like to have stock ride back. Is anyone have these parts available?I have eibach prokit with Tokico Blues on my Q, not California Customs. How's the ride comfort with those? Thanks!

If you're going to part out your 94, how much for the power antenna? What kinda wheels did you have?
