1995 Pathfinder timing belt/water pump replacement

HELP!!! Ive got 3 estimates on getting this repair. The cheapest being my missan dealer. What gives? Isnt the water pump an item that would be replaced in the timing belt replacement if needed? Ive got 800- 1450 estimates...is someone yanking my belt? Times are tough and would do it myself if I had the time and tools...any advice would be greatly appreciated..
