I have a Nissan 1995 pickup and when driving first gear through third is the worst but every time I get near 3500 rpm it’s like I hit the rev limiter please help!

I’ve replaced temperature sensors for gauge and computer got that fixed. Took it to a long time friend with this same issue and he pointed out for me to try egr solenoid since I had egr codes well codes Are gone and haven’t came back so far but I wish I knew how or could post a short video to explain better what’s happening.

Sounds more like a MAF issue.

No codes, but it's still not revving over 3500rpm?

Make sure the swirl valve inside the intake manifold is not sticking.Change the fuel filter. Check the fuel lines around the fuel tank. Pretty common to find the lines along the frame rusted through. Wouldn’t recommend replacing the fuel pump until you troubleshoot other things. The main reason is cost. The screws that hold the tank usually break off which results in replacing the tank. Also you can try loosing the bolts on the exhaust flange or on the cat.converter this will check the exhaust system to rule out the possibility of a restriction in the system?

Also check the fuel pump pressure regulator.
