My girlfriends maxima has trouble starting in the morning when it is cold and in the afternoon when it is hot outside. It runs fine after it is started. Any thoughts?

First thing we need to konw is have you done anything to the car, as far as maintenance?

Does pressing the gas a litlte help at all? how about all the way?

I work at an Express lube so everything as far as maintenance should be good.New Denso Iridium plugs, fuel filter, air filter, throttle body has been cleaned. All has been done with in the last 8,000 miles. She runs 93 octane gas in it. But the problem just started.

It cranks over fine just won't fire up at first. You have to try a few times then it will start up. How do I check for the correct fuel pressure? 34 PSI?

i would replace the coolant temp sensor also.

easy to get to, and cheap.

[make sure its the two wire sensor. the one wire sensor is for the gauge.]

while your at it, remove, clean, and retighten the harness grounds. they are the two wires grounded to the intake manifold behind the front center injector.
