While trying to multimeter the "main switch" of the cruise control(its the one connected to the flasher under the dashboard) I noticedthe connector is a straight line 8 pin hole. The flasher is the smallbox and the main switch is the big box.
The FSM shows the connector to be a 2 x 4, two rows with 4 connectors.
Has anybody tried to fix the cruise control and/or tried to multimeterthis connector for dc voltage? If you fixed your cruise control I would be very interested in what was wrong and how you did it.
I still have to check the vacuum pump, actuator, and speedo sensor etc under the hood.
If you gave up on it and took it in for repair, how much did it cost to fix?
Also, it tried to multimeter the delay relay (has 4 prongs) which is underthe hood but the FSM procedure also showed a different connector type.I am not sure how to check the resistance on this.
