1995 Maxima Alternator

What amp alternator does a 1995 Maxima have? Secondly, what is the wire that runs into the top of the alternator and how do you replace this wire? Thanks for the assistance.

the alternator should be 110a or 125a. you could call the dealer with the vin to find out further specifics. as far as the wire goes, are you talking about the one that goes from the alternator to the battery? if so, replacement might be a little difficult due to the connection at the battery.
