1995 max engine seizef

I hope this is in the right place. So anyways, I have a friend that recently purchased a 95 maxima, shortly after buying the car the clutch went out. She had the clutch replaced. About 4 days later the engine seized. The car has 187,xxx miles on it. While the clutch went out, she stored it at her boyfriends house. After they broke up she went to tow the car to get the clutch fixed, and a few days later the motor seized. My question is, do you think that the engine could have be sabatauged (sp). The car ran perfect for those 4 days. She has almost perfect history of maintance on the car for its entire life. How many miles are expected out of the vq30de engine with perfect maintance and driven almost its entire life by an elderly lady. If anyone can help out, it would be greatly appreciated. I just find it really fishy and I think her ex might have done something to it. Thanks.
