1995 interior colors

hey all,

i'm going to buy my second g50 this weekend after wrecking my daily titan in a thunderstorm. i found a pretty solid car this time (the last one i bought as a project) but there are a couple interior pieces that need to be replaced. the interior is a dark tan, but when looking for parts i noticed some pieces that look to be light tan. i'm not sure if it's just the lighting or if there's actually different shades of tan available. i searched and apparently there is a color document floating around, however i couldn't find it. a simple answer would be fine, but i'd really like a copy of the color options document if anyone has it.

I'm pretty sure there was both a tan & a taupe. It would be hard to tell them apart ... until you had them in the same car.

Correct, tan and taupe,the taupe being a much darker color.On your vehicle ID plate {under hood} it lists the color of your interior as a specific number,called the "color-code"- see the factory service manual to learn how to read it if need be.


PS the tan color was put into many more cars than the taupe,probably 10X the amount.

let's go at it a dfferen way. can anyone say for sure one way or the other this color is (appears darker/more orange in person). i am trying to source parts before i pick up the car this weekend, not to mention i'm doubtful that any dismantlers ill have the actual name of their part.

Hard to say as the lighting is different. I'm about to cut up a 94 with a tan interior, what part do you need?

yeah, that's the problem im having also. not knowing how close the 2 colors actually are doesn't help. tried google but apparently the taupe interior is rarely photographed. i cant even see pics on nico any more for some reason.

so far i know i need both visors, the driver door panel, and posibly the panel under the glove box.
