1995 infiniti g20 stereo problems

I just bought a 95 g20 and the only problem with it is the stereo.The back speakers wont work and the door speakers dont work.I checked fuse for amps and it is good.When i pull the knob out on stereo for fader it does nothing but other knob for balance works.The only speakers that work are the little ones up by windshield it sounds like you have headphones on.I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.Thanks RT

Most likely defective amplifiers{bad solder joints}, the 2 amps are located in trunk under rear window deck......quick,easy fix would be to purchase aftermarket head unit with built in amp and direct wire to all speakers.

Is one amp for the front and one for the rear.Can I just bypass the amp and wire it in direct from stereo with wires already there.Does anybody know the wire colors for this car?Thanks RT
