my friend has a base model pearl white 1995 q45, the guy who sold it to him said that it has "rare" white leather interior. is this true? i know the 1990-1993 came with white but not the 94-96 q45. any ideas?

Art- I'm looking at the color chart for the 94Q and the white interior was available with 4 of the 9 base/active exterior exterior colors- Black emerald, blue lapis, ivory quartz and mulberry frost. The touring model has a different chart with different color combos. No white interiors for the touring models. Just because white was available doesn't mean anyone wanted it so it could indeed be rare.

The rarest interior color is .......................................taupe. It's only available on the mulberry frost base and active models. Not sure that all of the above is the same for the 95Q but there shouldn't be much difference.

We need to get together and look at your Q. I know you've done a lot to it since we met last year.

As far as Q interiors go, it's a weird tan color.

I have a pair (actually wearing them) of Dockers in toupe - it's that dark khaki sort of shade. I saw a pic of someone's mulberry/taupe combination and it's REALLY nice. The tan leather is ok, but it shows soil and wear more easily.

(BTW, what color were Jesda's infamous pants? )

That's interesting to know Goody! My '95 Q45a has a taupe interior. I love the look of it, and its not too hard to keep clean. The exterior is ivory.

Looks like some changes may have been made for the 95 models. Remember that I was reading off the 94 chart. I like the look of the Taupe also. I got a seat controller surround in taupe by mistake and it looks to be somewhere between the tan and chocolate brown? I wonder if they cut back on white on the 95-96 models?

I have taupe interior in the Q I bought from Rob (rsiwicki), I think it looks like a dingy tan ... and none of the interiors I've seen look as nice as the black leather .

I had the taupe on my 1995 Silver Q45. So, they must have done something different for that model year compared to the 1994.
