The problem with the rear speakers depends on what head unit is installed.
If it's an aftermarket head unit the amps weren't bypassed properly. It needs rewiring and you're going to have to search the schematic in the electrical section (EL), audio portion, of the FSM.

From your thread title it's more likely that you've got the original Bose head unit, speakers and wiring. Unless your Q has been baking in the desert sun daily for the past 16 years chances are very good that it's the amps gone bad and not the speakers. A very common problem in '90s Infinitis and Nissans.
Were your replacement speakers the speaker/amp combo or just the speaker? Did you notice any aftermarket wiring when you changed them out or was everything stock? If just the speakers were changed you've handled the amps and know how to remove them. If it was the plug-in speaker/amp combo (amp is in the black case on the rear) someone sold you a set of speakers with bad amps. For the next time around if you're only changing out the amps it can be done from the trunk without removing the back seat.
