Hello,

I have a 1995 Infiniti G20 which I won a little while back. Everything worked great when I got it, but after a few weeks the stereo just stopped working. The radio and tape deck both turn on just fine, and it will scan for stations just fine, but there is just no sound whatsoever. The antenna motor is broken so it doesn't extend, however it did work just fine as far as sound goes initially. At some point though the sound just stopped. I've taken the radios out, all of the wiring looks like it is brand new. The fuses in the dash all look fine, and the connections to the amps in the trunk all look good as well. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for what this could be, or some easy fix. I don't want to go buying replacement parts without some idea of what this could be. Or if anyone has some cheaper way of getting this fixed than buying a whole new stereo system that would be great.

I did search here, there were some similar things about the amp as far as I found, but nothing that sounded like it could really help me. As far as recent maintenance goes, before the stereo went out, the NOX sensor was replaced and in the center console the window up/down buttons were reattached as they had fallen down slightly. (I think a screw was put back in on that one). (Sorry, I didn't see the read first post initially..)

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
Kyle
