1995 g20 Input Shaft Bearing

Hi, searched the forum for this. It was making a rattling noise that would stop when I pushed in the clutch. Had a new clutch kit installed. It is still making the noise. Mechanic said I need to replace all the bearings, but I'm thinking it is the input shaft bearing. I know nothing about trannys. Help.
