I just replaced the engine in my 95 altima gxe and it drove fine the first time i drove it, but the speedometer didnt work. so i fixed that (broke wire) and when i drove it it acted fine but when i got to 50mph it jerked hard and now i dont have reverse. when i select reverse it surges forward and acts like i am holding the brakes and mashing the gas. its acting like it is going into R and D at the same time. i can put it in neutral and it surges forward, it i press the gas in neutral it goes forward. and if i put it in drive it will go, but it acts like i am holding the brakes through first gear only. all of the other gears seem to be fine. it also makes a whining/whistling noise (similar to turbo spool) when shifting between P, R, N, and D. what do you guys think? time to replace the transmission? new fluid and the fluid is full.
THANKS!!
