Well today after school this guy with a 1987 supra (non-turbo) wanted to run me. Hes been wanting to race me for a while so i decided to go. His car has a cat-back exhaust, he took out the back seats just for this race, and i think he has an intake. While my car is completely stock with Tein suspension and i left all my interior parts in the car. So we raced 3 times. The frist time we took off i dumped the clutch at like 2 grand and my tires were spinning and so were his. We were pretty even until he couldnt shift into 3rd and and i was gone. then we decided to go again and this time i called it off because my friend was in another car and we i got a good jump this time. So then i beat him that time and he wanted to go one more time. THis time my friend called it off and we took off at the very same time until my car started pulling away. i was about a car length ahead of him and we were both in 4th gear and we wer almsot to the end and his car catches up to me. Im proud of how my car did since i havent done anything to the motor and his car is a 6 cylinder with mods. Just wanted to share.

Thats badass... i felt the same way last weekend. I raced my 240 for the first time against my friend in his jetta. my car is a 93 240sx base coupe with header-back system, intake, and weight removal. HIs car has the vr6 (v6) engine with lightweight flywheel, racing clutch, much smaller tires than stock, short shifter, exhaust, intake. We kept dead even from a stop to 70 and from a roll to 70. I was shocked, cause i thougt i was gonna get raped.

Remember, those 7m-GE engines push around 200 at the fly, and push around 3500 lbs. he's probably dominate you on the freeway, but then again, maybe not, lol. Nice kill.

On the freeway the 7m engine is very fast. The 7mgte engines look like they can keep going for a long time.

Yah the older supras are no joke. I used to own a 1990 7M-GTE, those are very nice torque engines. Most of the time they can push 500-600 hp on stock bottom end no prob. With not many mods. I was actually thinking about getting it again, but I went with the 240 since IM a big fan of Nissan. But yah, those supra's are no joke. The 7M-GE also does Dominate on the high way, only downfall to those cars is their weight.

please do not street race. take your thirst to a safe closed course, a.k.a. track.

besides these cheap arse cars not worth racing on, unless they are heavily rebuilt and modified.

I don't want to offend you, but I have to say this...

*Ahem...ladies and gentlemen, this is a rant*

I can't stand hearing this over and over again, why don't you people go about it?

It's going to happen wether you like it or not, wether you say anything about it or not, and wether they get cought or not. Street racing is one of the great acts of the American rebel, and it's a lot more fun to race for free in the fifth place.

Also, before you go spouting off with the "I'ts dangerous, how dare you endanger innocent people!" crap, let me point this out - nobody got hurt. If the "proper" precautions are taken, nobody ever, ever gets hurt unless the driver can't control their car, like all the crashes you hear about on TV. If that was the case, then I'd be against it too, but it wasn't. It's like partying, you don't get caught if you're smart - the law can't bust you if they don't know where or even if you're doing it. You gotta fight for your right to party, mang!

Please, don't attack our cars, and let us have fun with them while we can, that's what we buy them for.

*Again, I apolagise if I offended you in any way, for that was not my intention. - end rant*

Just chill out and have some faith that these people know what they are doing, and we'll all live happier lives.

Great stuff TurboSilvia7587, keep kicking that Supra and stay safe!

We'll keep telling it, because if someone acually listens, it could save a life. I don't care if it's a thousand hi-jacks if at least one life is saved.
