As stated in the title, I own a 1995 204SX and I am wonder exactly what size rim/tires I can fit in my wheel wells. When I lived in japan I had a 1995 Turbo Silvia, K edition I belive, anyways, I was able to fit 225/40 in the front and 255/40 in the back(17's). Now, I hope i can do the same on the 240SX but with 18's, as the wheel wells do look the same size, but I don't know if they placed anything in diffrent possitions or the shock covers will rub, or what not.
Also, the calipers on the 240SX look like the come out farther then the ones I had on my Silvia. I remember the tires going in much deeper, but of course they suck out past the body of the car too (Thus, I had to borrow my friends stock Skyline tires to go pass the JCI :P). I'm prolly going to upgrade to the 300ZX or 3KGT's breaks instead, so that might not be an issue. (The stock ones look SOOOOOO small ; ; )
So, I am interested in knowing what other people have been able to fit in the there. I currently have 18 low profiles, which I don't like. I would like to replace them with 18's again(non-lowpro), but if they rub or what not I might have to go to 17's ; ; Will 18' 255/40 be fine for the back and 225/40 good for the front? ^^;; I did like how they looked on my Silvia...
