I'm having the same issue as explained in the tutorial. I have been following this tutorial is hopes of fixing my car. I have a 95 240sx KA and wondering if that has anyone to do with it (I doubt it), but here is whats going on.

The car does the same thing, I turn the key car will not turn over no cranking of starter. When I turn the key I here a clicking coming from Clutch ASCD realy, I tired swapping with working one does same thing. I have in a new Optima Red Top Battery (Brand New), removed starter and had it tested (test ok). I bought from Nissan the Clutch Interlock switch and installed and still nothing. I currently have a Push button switch connected from Starter Harnes to Battery, and car will turn over and start no problem.

In the tutorial it said that the Clutch Interlock relay could be bad, where is it on a 95 I did not see it behind battery. I looked Under hood in relay box but none, there are realys in the car by fuse box buy they are not labeled on the panel.

just get a digital multimeter for 20 buck and see how far the power is getting. do you have theft warning from factory? if not, ignore tw . look up starter in tutorials because if you dont have tw, your car is same as 89-94 pretty much as far as starting. dont try to figure this out without multimeter, though

I just purchased an early 1995 model 240 and it does the same thing. My car only starts when jumper cables are used. My batt is 12.8 ov . I can't check amps and i don't have a dmm. What is this tutorial>? I need to get the car running tomorrow. So much for 240's being great dd's...lol

if you mean you are jumping battery, then you need a battery or maybe your alternator is not doing its job. doesnt get simpler than that.

if the battery is good, you have a problem with alt or loose belt or blown alt fuse or dirty battery connections
