1995 240sx-REAR END CLUNK NOISE

so here my prob , ive recently swapped an rb25 into my 240 , with much sucess runs great and strong. my problem is my rear end clunks everytime i come to a complete stop and everytime i hit it with gas at slow speeds and also when i engage the clutch, even in reverse. My car has abs but the fuse has been pulled. The car has stock suspension, and i suspect the shocks are shot. Car has 180,000 miles on it.

have you checked your rear sub frame bushings?If you have 1.5 or 2 way lsd, this could be the source of your problem too.

to be honest i havent. what kind of damage am i looking for on the subframe bushings? and i have an open diff.
