I just bought a 95 s14 with lsd and everytime i shift and dont ease the clutch out slowly it makes a knock in the back? The guy i bought it off of said it was the lsd kickin in but i think its something more? I thought maybe it needs new u-joints? Your guy's thoughts would be nice.

Thanks,Wynn

Sounds like bad diff bushings on the front of the diff or possibly bad subframe bushings.

So what im going to do is take it to the Nissan dealer and have the look over the car (Check for loose bolts blah blah blah on the rear end and ect.) And have them replace the subframe bushings, and the diff. bushings? Sound good?

Your better off replacing the subframe bushings with NISMO bushings than with the stock one. If you take it to Nissan they will tell you the entire subframe has to be replaced as they do not sell the 'normal' bushings by themselves, only with the subframe pre pressed in.

probably, I would only do it if ya get the hook-ups though, otherwise the dealer will rape you

You live maybe 45 minutes from me I can take a look at it. If you provide the parts I can install them pretty cheap.
