Recently acquired 1995 240SX 5sp Base Model. Non-Original engine. I was driving it for a few days and it just stopped cold on my way to work one morning. The only code is a P1320. I had my doubts about the wiring harness, so I got one that was in MUCH better condition. Also, I replaced the wiring harness that includes the positive battery cable with a factory new one. Using a generic scan tool, I can see that the ECU is picking up RPMs whils trying to crank. I get spark and the fuel pump is priming with the key. I will be borrowing a coworker's noid lights soon to check for injector pulse. I could not locate any threads that dealt with a P1320 with a 240SX. It seem this code usually relates to COP which I do not have. Could my coil be packing it up? 350$ for a new distributor and coil is a bit steep at the moment. But, if that's what it takes, then that's what it takes. If you have any other areas I should take a look at, please let me know. Thanks, ~Owen

Finally got around to testing the injectors. They are all pulsing normally. Still crank no-start. Soon, I'm going to pull the plugs to see if anything is making it into the cylinder or not. No one else has any ideas here?

how do you know you are getting spark? (how was it tested for?). could you possibly have a weak spark? does the car just crank or does it seem like it wants to start?

I tested for spark by putting a sparkplug into the plug boot and grounding the plug while cranking. It is possible that I have a weak spark. The car just cranks and cranks and cranks.

take a look inside the cap and check for excessive carbon just to be safe.
