I bought a '95 240 about a month ago. I changed the oil about 3 weeks ago and today when I checked it not only did it rise about 3/4" past the high mark but it also has the smell of gas. Both after the oil change and this time the car had been sitting overnight. And it does not seem to be running rich. I have not had a chance to change the plugs or wires and was wondering if could either be a plug not firing or a problem with the injectors or worse. If you have any suggestions on finding out what the problem is I would really appreciate it.

I got a scan tool and checked the codes and P0325 (Knock Sensor) showed up. I don't know if this could contribute to the gas or not. Or could the car misfiring make the knock sensor code show up? Where should I start with the diagnosing of the gas in the oil?
