Well I dropped my tank this weekend and found a crack in it. the crack is about a inch long. Does anyone know what to use to seal the crack back up. I been doing some searches and some say epoxies but, does anyone know which specific epoxy to use. I don't want to jack the tank up even more. Any help will do. Thanks to everyone who helps.

I beleive I've heard that JB Weld works to seal cracks and leaks in a fuel tank.

But... once you've sprung a leak.. you could have more coming soon.. Might be wise keep your eyes out for a new tank. Lots of folks part out cars.. keep your eyes on classifieds and you might find one pretty easily... and cheap!

Good luck!

i agree, JB weld is the best way to go... Just bes ure you follow instructions CAREFULLY... You may want to patch it from inside the tank and outside..

Im thinking that fuel may break down the weld though, so keep that in mind.... It wont happen real fast, but enough that you may be leaking in a year or 3.
