Hey, i really need some help getting my 1995 240sx to run. Heres the deal, I sold my 1996 240sx se to my friend with 72k on it. He drove it until 78k and then bought a 1995 240(my current car) with a sr20 just for the engine. He took the motor out of my old car and swapped the sr into it. Now i bought the 1995 off of him with my old ka24. The car was a complete disaster, i now have it like 70% of the way it needs to be to be running. I have completely full race gutted it and intend on using it only as a drift/race car. I put my old motor in and put a maxima radiator(the car didnt come with one and they dont have 240s at my local junk yard) in with dual electric fans and wired them to a switch along with my fuel pump. I have almost everything hooked up all sensors, and lines and have checked for power over and over again in every wire. The car has a mess of the fuse box under the hood but i have pretty much determined everything but it seems to be missing a section of it. That is why i wired my fuel pump to a switch. Now my problem is i can not get power to my distributor, im not gettin spark and i dont believe the injectors are spraying. Ive done all i can to try to get it running but nothing seems to be working, can someone experienced please steer me into the right direction and give me some help so i can get out there and beat the sh*t out of my kick *** soon to be ka-t.

Sounds like the engine harness is unhooked or you are missing some connections to the main fuse box in the engine bay. Fuel pump is triggered by the ignition wires. If the starter turns over then your problem lies either in some grounds unhooked near or at the main engine fuse box or the wires are not hooked up at all or incorrectly. You should concentrate on that.

i believe i have chased down every single ground i can, and checked for ground in almost every connection that would have anything to do with fuel or spark. The problem is i do believe i am missing part of the under hood fuse/relays. Noone around here has a ka 240 for me to look at and see what im missing. The unhooked wires in my relay center are 3 blacks with red stripes and one fat white wire. the white one is the only one that has power to it with the key on.

Thats true, i will get some pictures up as soon as i can. Also any of you guys with ka24des post some pics if you could, just of your under hood fuses and relays. I think it may be a good idea for me to try to find a wrecked 95-98 240 or one with a blown engine so i can steal as many parts as i can. I dont think its possible to find any of the wiring i need because the fuse box always stays in the car. My friend gave me his s13 right hand drive front clip and i was hopin to get some relays off of it but nothing matched up even close. Thats another thing anyone looking to make there s13s right hand drive i have the whole clip with the dash and everything, it also had a nice pair of tokico jam adjustable shocks with some lowering springs. If anyones interested let me know.

Right click and save the images. I would check all of those, just to make sure.

Heres the latest. Tonight I just ran a power jumper to the positive side of the coil and then a ground to the coil. I checked both of them for power and ground and they had it. But nothing happened i still am not getting spark and im not sure if the injectors are spraying. I still would really like to know where the hot white wire goes and the smaller black with red stripe. I have determined that two of hte black with red stripes are a/c and power windows. I feel like im getting closer but it still seems so far away someone please tell me what im doing wrong. Also anyone have any opinion on The advancedjdmparts.com ka-t kit. Its like $900 with everything but it donset come with injectors or a piggy back. Im tryin to decide between that and the greddy kit, but the greddy kit is $2800 and dosnet come with intercooler or bov, but it does have greddy emanage and higher cc injectors, maybe even a warranty i havent looked into it.

If i remember correctly the fat white wire supplies power to the entire fuse box or to the ignition, acc, starter signal, via a fat white wire with red stripe under the dash. I recall a fat white wire running from underhood to underdash where it connects to a white red striped wire. But underhood that wire one side needs to hook to the battery positive terminal while the other end hooks into the main engine fuse box tied down by a screw.

So what your saying is, because it has power it has to be tied down to the post on the fuse box? I believe the two wires that plug into the block on the battery are both white with red stripes but i will double check. Do you know anything about the black one with red a stripe? i think that may have something to do with it because the positive to the coil is a smaller black with red stripe.

It finally started up, after all the messing around its running. It kinda sucks that i was the only one working on it, out of all my friends that always help me work on it not one was here to hear it run so i had to jump for joy by myself. Thank you guys for all your help it really was needed. I ended up hooking the white wire and hte black with red stripe together an then running a 8 gauge wire from those to the post on hte fuse box and she fired right up like it was meant too. Although now i have the issue of it not revvin up, im positive its the maf, i took it from a v6 maxima. What is the best maf to get, i will be goign turbo soon so, will the maxima one work or should i go 300zx or ford lighting?
